Archachatina Marginata are are usually easy to distinguish. They are the second largest of the G.A.L.S. in shell length, and are the largest shell width and in body and thus the heaviest. Their shell is less pointed then other G.A.L.S. Their most distinguishable feature is a visible raised V ridge on their tail. Their skin is also more finely textured than Achatina, These are traits found in all Archachatina marginata. They come in a variety of skin colours and have a typically mixed colour shell.
