THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF G.A.L.S.
There are different types of G.A.L.S. with their own different environmental needs, one of the first things to learn is what these requirements are depending on the snail species you have or are going to acquire. 

Achatinidae

Achatinidae is the Latin name of the family of giant African snails. This family includes a vast variety of species. The following are only the most common types kept as pets. In each spices section you will find the a basic care sheet, and some other information. But please remember to ask the breeder or previous owner of your G.A.L.S. how they kept their snails, as preferred environments for captive bread snails can sometimes defer from the official care sheets.
